My Musical Background
Vocal Training
I’ve majored in Classical Vocal Performance at Florida International University, and Studio/Jazz Vocal at the University of Miami School of Music. I am a former private jazz vocal student of Jon Secada, and a former classical vocal student of Dr. Lynda Elliott.
Ear Training/Choruses/Styles
I am a a current member of Voices of Unity at Unity Church of New York, and a former member of the University of Miami Gospel Choir. I can sing from pop to rock to soul to jazz.
Live Performances
I have over 20 years of performance experience as a professional singer. I’ve opened for legendary bluesman Taj Mahal, and toured Latin America as a backup singer for the Spanish artist Raphael. I can sing in English and Spanish. I’ve also sung in classic rock and dance cover bands (song list available on request).
Songwriter Demos/Recordings
I’ve sung on countless songwriter recordings, including “Mueve Las Caderas” (”Move Your Hips”) for Latina artist Carmelina Vargas, and “Ruby” for pop singer/songwriter Craig Lawrence.
